Crunch Time

With only 3 weeks left of November, you now do not have the luxury of procrastination. Hopefully, you have now focused on your idea for your project and just how you will make an impact on society (which I suggest to do by preparing a preliminary legislative bill sent to a concerned legislator).

Timeline:

11/16 - Each individual's (within each group) written work given to me in class or e-mailed to me before November 16th. The work can be e-mailed to drjuliefagan@gmail.com. I will then give you feedback via the blog site.

11/23 - No class - Prepare for Thanksgiving, but you should continue to work on your project.

11/30 - Meet in class with a hard copy of the complete version of your bill. In addition, the final project should be submitted online.

12/7 - A written response to all the other projects is due.

NOV 30!
Only 2 classes left. Tomorrow Nov 30, come as a group sometime between 9:15 and noon. Bring a hard copy of your final project. We will be sending it to someone (whether it be a legislator if you have prepared a bill - or some individual from an organization that may act upon your project request}. To do this, each group will need a name and address (snail mailing and email)of where it will be sent and a cover letter briefly describing your request. Then provide justification for the bill or whatever (your background info which may or may not be in powerpoint format) followed by (or preceded by) your proposed bill (or business/organization). Bring all of this in as a hard copy so I can look at it tomorrow. I may make suggestions, then you can put it online for the class to read and summarize.
